This crafting spotlight brings together twelve unique craftable items from the Storybook Vale DLC, all showcased in one cohesive catalogue-style post. With the first image above displaying the full collection, and the following slides breaking down each recipe individually, this format makes it easier to plan builds, gather materials, and craft with intention.

The items featured in this collection include a mix of décor, fencing, lighting, and environmental pieces — ideal for building out themed areas such as magical gardens, rustic pathways, enchanted courtyards, and storybook-inspired villages.

🛠️ How to Craft These Storybook Vale Items

All twelve crafting recipes can be found through the Storybook Vale DLC. Once crafted, these pieces can be mixed and matched to create layered environments throughout your Valley. Fences and paths help define spaces, decorative items add character, and lighting elements bring everything together with atmosphere and depth. You'll likely notice that some pieces in this post are far more versatile than they first appear, working beautifully across many different builds and biomes in the game. 

Build & Decorating Ideas

This collection works beautifully when used as a set, but each item also stands strong on its own - or even mixed in with other items from the game. As the game continues to grow, so do the decorating possibilities. The unique charm of the stone fence variations makes them perfect for outlining gardens, walkways, and themed zones, especially when paired with the Broken Cobblestone Path in between (or something else, or even nothing at all!)

Decorative items like the Atrium Candles, Brave Bear Tapestry, and Autumn Mage Scarecrow add story-driven charm and visual interest. One of my favourites is the Bridge Lamp Post, which helps anchor builds and guide movement through your spaces. I particularly love placing these in city-style or Plaza inspired builds. Because these items share the same DLC origin, they naturally complement one another, making them ideal for larger builds where cohesion really matters.
